Today, for the first time after like… months of cold and grey winter time, the sun is shining (well it’s already been out since days ago).. but but but this time, the temperature is actually around 16° C. And you know what, it feels sooo goood!!

I was out today to meet out with Nadya around the city center. I made a quick stop at the library because I had to return some books. And on the park near it I saw some flower just started to bloom. OMG.. Finally…

Don’t get me wrong. I love winter. I love the snow and everything. But having it for around 6 months.. It’s too much.

So thank God spring is here!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Summer

I love summer…

I love the fact that I don’t need to put 1o layers of cloths before going out .

I love the fact that walking by near the harbour is no longer a torture with the strong cold wind.

I love the fact that the sun is actually shining and not hiding behind the clouds all the time.

I love the fact that for a short amount of time, I feel like I’m back home in Indonesia again.

and I know that summer is coming (or maybe it’s already here) when I see people brave enough at throwing them self  to the cold water of the sea.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Blue

Hello.. hello…

So.. this week theme came a bit late than usual, but it’s good though because now I have a reason to make a post…

One thing that I like about living in Sweden is the vast blue sky on a clear sunny day. Although sometimes it might be hard to get a sunny day here, but when it does happen all you can see is the blue sky and the fluffy-looking clouds. It’s a rare sight for me because back in my hometown, almost every morning the sky already being covered with smokes from all the vehicle on the streets.

Took this picture on a winter day two years ago in Malmö. Me and my hubby took a walk around town and there they were — flew near the frozen river, like it didn’t feel any cold whatsoever — the beautiful seagulls… Tried so hard to catch them on camera and after few shots, I finally got this picture.. :D

So.. back with the weekly challenge..

Took the picture below last year around Christmas time. The neighbor across the street already set up their lights few weeks before the day so I just took the chance to snapped some pictures… Free props always good, right? 

Anyway… this is how the picture look like on the first try… Did it on purpose because I thought that it might be good for a background or something…
